On our first trip, we had an extremely tight budget for meals.
Breakfast in the car, on the way up and the hotel room the next morning, was Pop Tarts. I know, I know, not the healthiest, but we had gone about our regular home days on just this. We also brought drinks that didn't NEED to be put in a fridge.
Both days for lunches, we just ate at the lower priced end restaraunts in Magic Kingdom. We got away with meals, for two, on two days for under $20.00.
Dinner, we did a buffet dinner between Disney and our hotel the first night. And just hit a fast food joint as we headed home after our 2nd day.
Tip # 3- consider buying Pop Tarts, Go Tarts, Pecan rolls, danish, etc. They can be wrapped up easy for storage the next morning. Disney offers a nice variety of "fast food" types places to eat (these days I think meals run $15.00 and under per person).
